Sources: Rosgeo’s CEO may head state mineral resources agency soon

MOSCOW, Aug 28 (PRIME) -- Roman Panov, CEO of Russian state-run geological exploration company Rosgeo, also known as Rusgeology, is likely to head the Federal Mineral Resources Agency soon, an industry source and a senior government official said on Friday.

“The head of the Federal Mineral Resources Agency (Valery) Pak will hand in resignation. Roman Panov is likely to take his place,” the first source said.

The official confirmed the information and added that at the moment Pak is on vacation.
